It is the goal of PHMTEC that our courses prepare the individual to understand all aspects of an early childhood program.  Teachers graduating from PHMTEC will be able to organize schools that offer a full, comprehensive curriculum in all subjects. 

The purpose of Palm Harbor Montessori Teacher Education Center is to offer each individual a superb education that stays true to the philosophy of Maria Montessori while embracing skills and techniques that meet the demand of today’s ever changing field of education.

The purpose of Palm Harbor Montessori Teacher Education Center is to offer courses of excellence and professional standards that prepare teachers in Multisensory Language Education. 

The teacher training courses offered at PHMTEC are designed to prepare teachers:

 To meet the responsibility for the accurate assessment of the child’s learning abilities and learning styles.  The imperative for meeting the needs of each student requires the teacher to be properly trained and prepared to guide the student through an individually designed curriculum.

To create an environment that allows the building of sequential curriculum and lessons that create a solid foundation for learning and the growth of self-esteem.  It is our mission to prepare teachers to effectively utilize their observation and teaching skills in order to evaluate and diagnose cognitive development, while nurturing the whole child while administering an individualized curriculum within a peaceful environment.
